seattle art museum.

cheating a bit, everything in an art museum is already exquisite and beautifully lit.

titlow park.

i took a one-day digital SLR photography class to refresh my photographic knowledge, learn more about my camera and in-turn be a better photographer.  these photos are from the field work we did in the afternoon.

amanda.

i came upon this memorial while photographing at titlow park and remembered hearing about the accident on the news a couple weeks prior.  i was hesitant to photograph it at first, but did so knowing my actions stemmed from respect.

amanda was 17 years old.  imagine your life being cut short at 17.  think of the many experiences she will never enjoy with her family and friends, all the "firsts" she will never know and the wonders she will never see.  my thoughts go out to her loved ones.
